What is this material used in building?

This material sounds funny, but honest to god I am serious. This material is white in color. It is hard, but very flexible. It is super slippery. Like if you hold it, it slips right through. Its in the shape of a pole, cylindrical. It can be purchased at home depot. I want to say that its used in either plumbing, or on a swivel joint. what is it!

sounds like polyethylene tubing ...... Delrin is the other one i was thinking of ............ok heres two more PET (polyester) or PETG (copolyester)
