cap:

circular and smooth

it is around 3.5 inches in diameter

is convex to umbonate

it is white to light tan in color with light brownish color in the center but darker than outsides

peels extremely easily

curls slightly inwards towards stalk

gills:

definitely decurrent

white to light tan color

gills radiate from stalk

.5 mm separation

gills are alternating in size big medium small medium big medium small etc. and size affects position smaller are on outside don't touch stalk neither do mediums but all touch the edge

spore color appears to be tanish orange

stalk:

smooth

4 inches for a 3.5 inch cap varies for size of cap to that ratio

same color to gills and edge of cap

fibrousy fibers go up and down not hollow in center

veil:

not known at early stages

no residue ie. volva annalus or other

other:\

smells without altering mushroom is like those that one buys at a grocery store the plump little ones

th only changes with age are size

  1. Sounds like a type of Galerina mushroom, but without a photo it is hard to know for sure.


  2. eat it and tell me if it tastes good... if its poisonous, my bad.
