I have been a member of mypoints.com since 1997. I have gotten enough points to put a swing set in my back yard, stay at a hotel, get gift cards for Christmas gifts etc.

It is legit.  Most of the time you get emails and click on the link to go to the page = 5 points.  If you take the offer you can earn more points accordingly.  If you shop online you can go to mypoints first, find the type of store you want and go from there.  Each store partnered with mypoints will give you points per dollar or maybe x amt of points if you spend x amt of dollars etc.

They also have questions you can answer on their page to earn points and during the holidays they usually have contests to earn more points, you go to their page daily and play.
