What is this mysterious hole in my skin?

I have this small hole on my ear, and want to find out what it is. I've had it for several months, and while it's not getting worse, it's not clearing up either. It is small and looks like a piercing, but it does not go through the ear completely. It also itches sometimes. What is this?

  In answer to your question. I do not know what it is that you have ,but I would get a Dr.advice if I were you. It could be a fungus or anything that would cause it to itch. You might like to try some tea tree oil on it, it will stop the itch and if it is inflamed it should solve this problem too. Faith.

It could be a really deep clogged pore.  They are pretty common on the ear even though one wouldn't think so.  You can try gently squeezing it, or using a sterile pin.  Don't worry the pin won't hurt since it is already a hole.  After putting a sterile pin in then try gently squeezing it.  You can try a warm compress before and after.  If nothing comes out, but it is a clogged pore, it should surface on it's own after being aggravated a little. If it is too deep then I would suggest going to a dermatologist or licensed esthetician.  I hope this helps. :)

it might be cancerous so u should definently get it checked out

or maybe u ddnt realize that your ear bumped into something and it never healed althought it should not itch and it shouldve cleared up by now if that was the case.
