  1. seriosly i have 2 of them on each side of my jaw, i dont really worry about them but i will keep my eye on this question to find out what they are, sorry i couldnt help

  2. it could be a pimple, or some food that got in your gums. Either way it seems like you have a small infection. If you don't have insurance, take some Benadrly... if it stays like that for a few more days you may want to see a doctor.

  3. an ulser maybe?

    go see a doctor if you are worried about it.

  4. it sounds to me like a swollen lymph node.  Perhaps you have a small infection or are coming down sick.  The fact that it is hard and movable tends to lend itself to this.  If it was fixed I would be more worried.  I still would say to get a doctor or dentist to check it out though just to be sure because there are many reasons that a lymph node could be swollen some are ok and some are bad so it shouldn't be left.  If its just that you are getting sick then it should go away in 10-14days or less

  5. I have the same thing sometimes. It's just a swollen gland. When they get noticable, it usually indicates that you're getting sick-- it's your immune system booting up.

    If you poke at them enough they can get tender, but if you leave it alone, it'll be fine. Those glands are there all the times anyways, but they'll get smaller eventually.

    You may be able to feel a similar lump on the other side of your jaw sometimes, or it may just be the one that swells up.

  6. sounds like an absess.you need to go see your dentist and get some antibiotics.that should clear it up but you will prob need something more done to stop it getting infected again or have the tooth removed.

  7. Ok it could be a stone.

    If it is in the oral tissue and a gland is there the same calcium that gathers on our teeth as plaque and the dental hygenist scales off is carried in the saliva and can form a stone.

    This is called calculus (stone) and it can gather and become a stone in the salivary gland in a condition called sialithiasis.

    Sial = salivary

    lith = stone

    iasis = condition of

    It is the same as a gallbladder stone but in the salivary gland.

    If it is in surface tissue it is possible it is a lipoma - a gathering of fat.

    In case some of you are wondering about the word calculus when it refers to the branch of mathematics it is named calculus after the stones that were used to place hold and count and do calculations.  Calculations - there we go again.

    Language is amazing.
