Question:

What is this on my foot?!

When I first noticed it, there was a clear hard bump on the bottom of my foot. It was really tiny. I tried to remove it myself but was unsuccessful. I assumed it was just going to be a blister and that it would resolve itself. Weeks later it is still there. The area has become raised and very painful. The clear bump is still there and the same size.

  1. You'll never know until you get it checked out, see a podiatrist and everything should work out fine. If you can't afford a visit or too embarrased or what other reason you can come up with to avoid seeing a doctor try looking up the symptoms on WebMD.com its very helpful and should narrow down what the bump on your foot may be.

  2. seems like a plantar wart to me. go to a doctor and find a way to get it removed.

  3. Caitie, you've probably got a plantars wart, notoriously painful when on a pressure point, and very difficult to treat at home.

You can try a commercial wart remover, but lots of times they can't get to the heart of it to kill the wart virus.

Our daughter's plantar wart took three doctor visits to remove. The smaller it is when you start, the fewer visits it will take.

  4. take serious thought about visiting a podiatrist and have him take a look at it.  today you can neverbe too careful and you never know what is happening to your body. good luck.
