What is this on my toe?

I have this like reddish brown dot on the top of my middle toe and it's kinda hard. i tried scraping it off and popping it but it wont go away. my mother thinks it is some sort of wart or blood thing. i have no idea. anybody else know? I'll show a pic. don't worry it's not gross or anything..

It looks like a blood blister. Popping it with a needle and pushing on it lightly should help. Even trying ice will help it also.

Your picture isn't very good and doesn't help at all.  

It could be a plantar wart, which is a wart that appears on the bottom of the foot or on the toes.  Plantar warts look different than warts on your hands or fingers, they aren't raised and bumpy.

They make medications specifically for plantar warts, you could try those.  And once you get it cleared up, you will want to get all new shoes, to make sure you don't reinfect yourself.  And you should wear flip flops in the shower, to make sure you don't infect others in your family who use the same shower.

All this is provided it IS a plantar wart, I'm just throwing out ideas here.

Sounds like a mole. If that's the case, it'll probably just come back over and over. If you really are concerned, ask a doctor.

You can always think of it as a beauty spot.
