What is this pain i'm feeling?

I've already been to my doctor and he says i have muscle inflammation and all i need to do is take paracetemol.

When i put my right arm back and my left forwards, or vice versa i have a pain which is quite intense (but does not hurt) between my nipples (in the center) It's not there unless i do the above with my arms, what is it?

your doctor is probably right - it sounds like a muscle strain or pull.  The fact that it only hurts when you do certain movements suggests this.  It can take a lot of time to heal as we are moving our arms all the time - I would suggest you take painkillers as your doctor has suggested

You definitely have a muscle spasm.  Your Rhomboids (muscles in between your shoulder blades) and probably tight.  This can cause pain in your chest.  Especially if you are moving your arms that way.  This is pulling the muscles that are spasmed and effecting the other muscles and creating pain or a tense pulling.  Try to take an anti inflammatory and take a hot shower to relieve some tension.  Also when you sleep try not to sleep on your side, lay flat on your back. ( I know this is hard and may create some pain, but it will help.

if you have inflammation you should be taking ibuprofen which is an anti inflammatory.you can take this with paracetamol.sounds like you've pulled some muscles.take it easy and get plenty rest.stop moving your arms about.

this sounds alot like pulled muscle, just rest it and you'll be fine.
