What is this place called?

Question

While in traveling in Costa Rica we passed this castle-like building:

Unfortunately our guide did not tell us anything about it as we passed. Does anyone know of this building?

It is call Castle of Monte de la Cruz, constructed by a Costa Rican diplomat to the return of one long season in Europa."

Today is used as a lower-middle class country club.

Try searching the area in costa rica online and then  see if they have any tourist attractions and then it might say something about it!

It might also just be a flippin awesome house!

it's located in san rafael, heredia.
