Last year I was watching Rick Steve's London, and he went to this resturant that served Mussels. It had a revolving center , like a conveyor belt with plates of mussels. The customer sat on the outside and grabbed a plate as it went by. When you were done, they counted the plates so they knew what to charge you. Anyone know the name of this place?

  1. You might be talking about Blue Belt, but I think it is now defunct.  Mussels should sit out of their pot for very long, which is probably why this place closed.  See the source link.

BTW, this conveyor belt is frequently found in mid-tier sushi restaurants here in London (and all over the world).  The sushi can sit out a bit longer, and it makes for a more efficient dining experience - a) gorge b) go to the cashier and pay for your colour-coded plates.
