What is this plate in a TH-400 Transmission called?

It is in front of the plates in the 1st drum on a TH-400?

I would like to know what it is called as I need to purchase one, as apparently it does not come in as a part of a transmission rebuild kit and needs to be bought seperately.

Please help.

  1. It looks like a spring plate to me.


  2. They are part of the clutch packs.
