Beauty is only skin deep, the world is full of thin skinned people.

it simply means what you alwayz see is not what you expect it to be....

ie. sometimes people are not what they look or what they try to show...........

its saying that beauty is only as deep as the skin,

and that so many people in the world have an ugly outlook on life because they're "thin-skinned" (looking at outside beauty more than personality)

It's simple. It' not very deep or complicated. But very meaningful

It's saying that skinny  isn't everythin and neither is physically beautiful. It's saying that personality and "what's on the inside" is more important
