What does this message mean? "Message delivered as plain text. Destination does not support enhanced messaging service." This person has the same plan as me with Verizon, I text him all the time... However, he is in Canada on vacation (Nova Scotia). Is he roaming? I did not attach any objects or anything, it is all just plain text, but it was a three-paged text. Does this mean he didn't receive the whole thing? Or received it page by page? Thanks.

  1. He probably received it as a few text messages. Most text messaging services outside the US will limit messages to approximately 200 characters. This will cause the large message to be broken down into smaller bits. He shouldn't have any trouble reading it.

By the way he is roaming, so you might wanna check with Vz's roaming policy before you guys text up a storm and get someone in trouble :)

  2. yeah, its proably because hes in canada using a different cell phone tower. he should of gotten it fine, ask him? lol

  3. this means, that you probably have a UMTS phone, and the other person has a GSM phone.  difference in phone abilities. He got the full text.  It probably came in 3 messages though.

  4. He has the same plan but does he have the same phone?  Some phones cannot support such a large text.  My guess is he got it.

  5. hey guys, http://www.rippedwallet.com/dkhalfe, <--go here, sign up and start getting a check sent to your house on a monthly basis, enjoy! all you do is spread the word!

  6. ugh actually no if you sent any add ins like animations you can do or if you have the phone where its different colord text then black or you put a background text then it will come up or and yeah that means he only also got the first 160 characters that verizon allows you to send!
