Question:

What is this sensation in my nose, ear and throat?

Just the other day I got this really weird burning sensation in my throat and my ear. It ran (or so it felt) from the inside of my right ear all the way down the right side of my throat and a little down thr right side of my chest. It was burning and felt very uncomfortable. It would happen peroidically through out the day. It kind of felt like the sensation you get after eating really hot chillies. Any ideas what this may be?

Also, I have this horrible sensation in my nose when I bend. It burns and tingles terribly. It feels like the sensation you get when you get water up your nose during a tumble turn when swimming, but only worse. I also feel really dizzy, but the thing is I don't even have to bend for long. Another example is that it feels like the sensation you get when you bang the back of your head really bad on a hard surace? I know my explanations sound confusing, but if any can relate or answer me it will really help! Thanks! Oh and by the way, the two problems aren't related. I always get the one in my nose when I bend but the one in my throat and ear happend only recently.

  1. i think this is neurological, but maybe it is a simpler, ear/nose and throat problem.

    but it isn't normal.

the dizziness is really an issue, possible dangerous.

it needs to be checked by a doc.

  2. maybe you ate something your allergic to, or you might have leaking brain fluids

  3. Could be a bacterial infection affecting your Eustachian tubes (the tubes that connect the ear to the back of the throat. You might want to run that one by your doctor.
