What is this....severe cramps!?!?

Last night I felt fine when I went to bed my boyfriend called me when he got off work at around midnight. While I was on the phone I had the worst stomach cramps I have EVER had! When I got up to get some medication I could barely walk & I was doubled over from the pain. I ended up having to get off the phone with my boyfriend cause it hurt so bad I was starting to cry. I had a baby 2 years ago & these cramps were 10X worse than any contraction I had. This morning I woke up & I feel fine so I have no idea what happened. At one point I had decided that if it didn't quit I was going to have my boyfriend take me to the ER but luckily it went away. What could it have been....?????

These severe cramps can be an indication of something like endometriosis (an example only but I had a similar situation occur with me about 11 years ago before I knew what was wrong).

I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they say.
