Question:

What is this strange plant?

I have this plant right by my front porch, it has these things on it that is half green half purple with these little spikes it sticks to clothing and attracts bees like crazy anyone have an idea what it might be im in michigan by the way

    Is this it?  If so:

    This is just a purple and green cactus.  Nothing strange.  This is all I found fitting your description.  In Michigan?  Alittle strange... but oh well.

  3. It's burdock, a very common weed.

    Don't let it go to seed!  Once those prickly burrs dry and turn brown, they will drop hundreds of seeds and you'll have a whole yard full of big burdocks.  These plants put down a very long taproot and they are difficult to eradicate once they become established.

    Cut it down immediately.  It's a noxious, invasive weed.

    these attract butterflies, and hummingbirds, but attracts bees the most
