  1. Either that they are jealous, or that you should get off your high horse... I guess the only way to find out is to see how many people call you a queen sarcastically. If lots of people do, you must be doing something wrong. If it was only a few, then heed them no attention.

  2. Hmmm, I would take that as being a snob. If you present yourself as being above everyone else, then that's why they'd call you that.

  3. They are taking the p**s, have them executed!

  4. A woman whos the "pet" to the boss deserves to be called the queen by her co-workers, because they have no way getting the next raise/promotion over her. Yeah, the implications are implied implicitly. :-D

  5. depends.. Could be taken as a sarcastic joke. Or it could be taken as a hurtful insider joke.

If the latter is the case than your peer's might view you as self centered, a "drama queen" or over needy/ "attention queen".

That or they are scared of you... three options take a pick.

  6. They may think that you hold yourself higher than others. These people are obviously jealous of you. Don't pay them any attention. The way I see jealousy is like this. People who you are jealous of usually don't know, people you tell don't care.

  7. It probably means that they think you act like you're above them. Getting out of the way is acting like they would for the queen as her carpet is rolled out.

  8. They are probably patronizing you.... unless you really are a queen.....

    Are you really a queen?

  9. No doubt someone with low self esteem and a group of their low-brow buddies who feel you should come down to their level, and intend to help you do it by deriding you.

It's a toss up whether to laugh at them and say a few choice words, or simply walk past.

One problem is, if you give them the cold shoulder, some of these insecure types can turn pretty nasty.

You might be better just laughing it off and saying something like 'I'm so glad I wore the tiara' or something silly, to get a laugh, then move past them.

And find some new friends. These folks seriously sound like drop-kicks.

    Cheers :-)

  10. Most likely it means they believe you are a drama queen.  Hence they get out of your way.

  11. they probably mean drama queen. do you complain alot?
