i dont really have any idea about this thing they called "under rotation" on doing jumps!

what is it all about?

  1. it is when u land a jump, usually dbls, triples or axels, while "under rotating", which means u do not complete the full 2 or 3 rotations and u land short of that and spin on the ice.

    watch at about 17secs, thats an under rotated axel. she lands and does a 1/2 rotation on the ice, btw, thats not me. hope i helped =D


  2. like if your doing a full rotation jump and you only do a half rotation. or a triple jump but you only do a two and a half rotation.

  3. ur not finishing the jump u are not completely all teh way around

  4. okay. if you do a single jump, you want to get one rotation, all the way around. if you don't get all the way around (for example, if you only get 3/4 of a rotation), it's called under rotating the jump. it's the same principle with a double or triple jump.
