Government is formed by majority of Lok Sabha seats...there are 545 seats in lok sabha...when the opposition feels that the ruling government wont be able to have majority in the lok sabha members so they ask for trust vote...to win the trust vote the ruling government has to get 273 votes from lok sabha members for majority to stay in power and if they lose then there will be re-election.

cant tell u the definition...

but itz like how many ppl r thr in ur favor.for example,our prime minister n his party wants to go in for the N-Deal.but opposition parties r not in favor...the public also has mixed reviews.so they jus want ppl to vote,so that they get to know that how many ppl trust d govt n are in favor of the N-Deal.

Trust vote doesnt decide the winning or losing.it jus gives u a vague idea.
