This cable changes the component  (red, green, blue) signal on one end of the cable to a VGA connector on the other end. You could use this to connect a computer output to the component connectors on a TV or video projector, or vice versa, connect a component DVD player/ game console output (or video camera output perhaps as suggested in a previous answer) to to a TV or monitor with a VGA input (like a computer monitor) this particular item seems overpriced to me...

you connect this 2 ether ur dvd or tv(or something like that) and then u connect it 2 the video camara and then u cn play the video
