  1. Digital Camo is used on cammies because it blends in better from far away.

I know what blue tiger and red tiger are but I don't know where they would be used. The blue/red tiger camoflauge are like a tiger stripe design but blue and black or red and black.

  2. Digital Camouflage is simply the new generation of camouflage in use by many western countries. CADPAT, MARPAT, the Army's ACUs. It's a digital pattern instead of a geometric pattern.

  3. Digital the pattern used in the MarPat (Marine Pattern) utilities; the are designed not only to have the wearer blend in visually but they have an advantage of being less visible to night vision equipment based on the digital pixel size of the various colors.  Night Vision equipment uses a television type display to have the user visualize the area so the smaller dots and pattern fit inside the screen dots (pixels) and make them harder to distinguish.  The different colored Tiger Striipes just indicates colors used in the pattern which is more stiped then other verions of camoflage; overall usefulness of the red and blue would be limited which is why most patterns are brown, green and black or the tan, bron shades used is desert and urban.

  4. Digital camouflage is used to replace woodland camouflage, chocolate chip, and mountain camouflage. Blue Tiger camouflage is used by arctic commandos. Red Tiger camouflage may just be for fashion.
