  1. I agree with Walker in Texas. It's a great Hobby radio site or general site for people interested in the technical aspects of radio stations. There are website listings and sometimes the actual links to the streams, However I find the site can get dated at times..But for a free access, It's good. (there is one better but costs $60/year to access)

It's also good for finding specific websites for radio stations.

    but the website is http://www.radio-locator.com

A website for live radio streams that is updated very regularly is http://mikesradioworld.com/

  2. Radio-Locator is a handy resource for radio enthusiasts.  It basically gives you the FCC information in a easy-to-read format. It gives you the power, transmitter location,  owner, antenna height, format, and predicted coverage on both AM and FM stations.  It lists nearly all, if not all, FCC licensed stations and some overseas.

It isn't really meant to be a source for streams links, but the stations that do stream more than likely will have a link listed for streaming.  I have noticed that Clear Channel stations don't have a link listed for some stations on that site.  This is because they reworked the sites, which included embedded players that you can get to only from their station's site.  If you wanted to listen to the station, you can go to their site and just click on the link to listen to the stream.

If you like radio (and you will probably get more answers about this question from about 3 or 4 more folks that answer regularly in this category) this site is pretty good in my book.  The general manager for the station I worked for used it many times.  It does have a limit on how many station queries you can make in a day.

If you visited the site, you probably noticed that you can search for stations in whatever city + state, or by call sign if you know the call sign.
