i have several old 50 cent pieces and a 1922 peace silver dollar as for the 50 cent pieces they all very in dates but alot of them are before 1975

check ebay for the auction values. My parents just found some old coins that were my grandparents. Most of the coins from 40's up to now will probably still be face value. You will find pennies from the fifties just about everywhere still in use.
