  1. IMMIGRATION!

I feel bad for my parents becuse they are immigrants,im not...thankfully...its,like everywhere u go they might come and take ya, even if ur sleeping!

  2. The fact that the US imports far more then we export, the reason that we are still the largest debrt nation, and with a work force of approx10% out of jobs, gone to China,

I was driving when the first gas s******g took place. And the ones that have followed.

  3. The cost of energy is moving us toward a deep depression.

  4. The U.S. is in a recession that is only going to get worse.  The cost of living in the U.S. is increasing rapidly to the point where a lot of us won't be able to live the way we have been living and will need to make major cutbacks. We're not getting salary raises that cover the increased cost of living so we're not even making ends meet anymore.  More and more people are being laid off and there aren't enough jobs to go around to all these people; many people are under-trained for the new work environment and refuse to get retrained; others can't afford to get retrained.  We're spending so much on the military and other things so there's not enough left over for basic human needs.  My utility company is raising the price of electricity and gas, again, so this winter we probably won't be heating the apartment at all, might cut back on what we cook too.  We've already given up the car because gas prices are just too high.  We only buy clothes to replace what is too raggedy to continue to mend and wear.  My family doesn't live an extravagent lifestyle--no ipods, no cell phones, no vacations, no shopping sprees.  But it's getting so expensive that we might have to cut out things that we've considered basic subsistent needs--and we're considered to be making a middle-class income!

  5. Today's crisis is complex.  We have soaring energy costs.    When diesel fuel is now $4.75 and rising, that price is passed on to the consumer in higher product and food costs.   We have a large amount of inflation.   Wages are not keeping up.   Job losses are making things worse.  Fuel prices also put the squeeze on auto makes and airlines, so they're laying off tens of thousands of people.   Taxes are going up due to goverments over-spending.  The real estate bubble burst and house prices are expected to continue to fall, while loans/credit is still hard to get.   There are lots of things going wrong at once.

It affects my life becase I can't afford any luxuries at all.   I can't even drive optional places because cause is just about $4/gallon here.   I got no extra raise to make up for this.    I am taking my summer vacation time at home.  I am putting what I can into savings, but bills are piling up.    I eat out less and when I grocery shop I avoid prepackaged convenience foods.    In short, I am spending a whole lot less and I am cancelling the services I can do without.

  6. Liberal socialism and big government.

It affects my life and decisions by taking them away from me thus forcing me to be a subject of the state with no liberty or freedom.

The trojan horse for this take over is "global warming". Accumulation of power through fear is alive and well in the modern world.
