  1. Torrent downloads are asynchronous (they go both up and down). One side "seeds" the file you wish to download, and many downloaders ("leechers") begin downloading parts of the main file from the seeder. Some downloaders will get parts of the file before others, and they can share those parts with other downloaders, which takes some bandwidth pressure off the seeding site.

The actual "torrent" file that you download from a torrent site is basically an informational file that tells your torrent software who's seeding the file.

You will see this at work when you do a download. You'll also see the file uploading to others at the same time. The goal is tou upload as much as you download (a 1:1 ration up/down), since this means you're sharing the load.

I did a torrent download the other day at home where I was actually uploading at twice the rate of the download. That's pretty unusual, unless I just happened to have the fastest link in the pool.

  2. Try Slyck http://www.slyck.com/bt.php?page=1

  3. a torrent file is a file you get from a torrent site like mininova and demonoid. the torrent file is the file you download from a torrent site, its what ever you download. and to use the torrent file you need a torrent client like utorrent or bittorrent.

    hoped i helped

  4. a torrent file is a file that people put on the internet it has some file they have on there computer you use a bitclient , i will explain mininova.org its simple just first 1)download a bitclient(this is just a name)okay i recommend downloading utorrent its the best go to utorrent.com and download it and here is how to use it after you download utorrent go to mininova.org in the search bar type what ever anime you want without the episode ex: naruto shippuuden 55. dont type naruto shippuden EPISODE 55 then they will show you list of episodes there is something important thing you have to notice and its the seeds and peers the seeds are the people you download from .peers are the people dowloading from the seeds so when downloading an episode check that the numbers of seeds is high select the file you want and download it then select to open it with the utorrent then they will show on your utorrent the episode in a bar click ok then the episode will start to download an episode of 200MB usally takes an hour but you have to adjust utorrent search that on the internet but if you dont adjust it your download wont be that fast

  5. Torrents, typically ending in ".torrent", are control files for the peer-to-peer file sharing technology called BitTorrent.

When you download a file using BitTorrent, the file is actually broken up into chunks, that your BitTorrent client program then downloads and reassembled into the final file as the pieces arrive. These "pieces" can come from multiple sources, and as soon you start collecting chunks of the file, these chunks are also shared on the network.

The ".torrent" file is simply the bootstrap for this whole process. You download that normally, for example in your web browser, and then it is read by your BitTorrent client. It has the information that the BitTorrent client then uses to begin to locate other BitTorrent clients that are serving up the file you're interested in.
