I read in newspaper about terminal 5 London, that there is extra fast luggage handling for transit passengers.

  1. as no.1 explain that is correct. Transit passengers are passenger whose destinations is not the one the aircraft landed first. Ex. DHAKA- RGN- BKK. That is flight originating from Dhaka then lands on Myanmar (Rangoon) and since the country is not so gracious to visitors the transit passengers are not allowed to deplane and waits 1hr for departure for Bangkok.


  2. Transit passengers are passengers who's final destination is not Lonon. They are in transit,meaning they are continuing to different destinations.
