I change the fluid in my 1994 Chevy Cavalier (messy, as there is no drain plug in the pan!), and also on my wife's 2004 Toyota Carolla (has drain plug, so no problem with this).
My Cavalier has 190,000, I changed the fluid again today, using fluid that is used for vehicles that have > 75,000 on them. Just what is the difference in this fluid, and the regular fluid for cars < 75,000 miles?
I know that I was told that I would not have to change fluid until around 100,000 miles, but I have always changed it every 25,000; I had rather have this small expense rather than having to replace a transmission.
Have a blessed day!
