  1. When plants or crops are raised in seed beds and after a particular time it is planted in the main field by uprooting from seed bed is called transplanting. Mostly done in annual vegetables, Rice and plantation crops.

  4. Transplantation is the act of delicately up-rooting established seedlings from a seed bed to plant out  in the field under controlled environmental conditions ; usually in the early morning or in the evening when places are cool and evaporation is minimal.

  5. TRANSPLANTATION IS A PROCESS (at times said as sowing method)WHERE SEEDLINGS ARE GROWN FIRST ON A SEEDBED UNDER WELL DEFINED CONDITIONS AND  LATER ARE TRANSFERRED OR SHIFTED TO MAIN FIELD ONCE THE FIELD IS READY.IT CAN B DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS-seeds are sown on well defined, well prepared seedbed, their nutrient requirements, the pest and disese management is done efficiently and it is grown with the characters desired.Spacing and variety taken are kept in mind.Maximum population of plants with good quality are grown here. Now lets see our main field....due to rains it might not b in good condition(more or less rainfall) and needs tillage operations, its nutrient composition or soil conditions(in all respects including nutrients)may not b good, stubbles growing need to b cut down, weed removement, removal of diseased plant remains, destruction of eggs of insects and pests etc. are yet to b performed. So till plants are growing and reaching seedling stage on seedbed, the main field is prepared(to make it good and efficient in all terms)by tillage(proper)and other practices. On proper time and season (so that plants become hard enough to grow on main field and face field conditions)the seedlings prepared on seedbed are shifted or transferred to main field. This whole process of shifting seedlings to main field is transplanting. It is mostly effective for sensitive crops but as said above largely depends on field conditions.Tomatoes and rice are main crops in which transplanting is done.

NOW A DAYS....SEEDLINGS ARE GROWN IN CULTURE MEDIA AND THEN TRANSFERRED TO MAIN FIELD IN CELL TISSUE CULTURE EXPERIMENTS.

  6. Transplantation as in Organs of a human means you basically remove the current one with a better one from someone who has either donated their part whilst alive or written in their will that their parts are to be donated after death

    Hope that Helped :)

  7. Normally seeds are grown in a greenhouse planted in a growing tray or flat. Once the seeds start becoming plants, they must be moved into bigger spaces so they can mature farther, at which time they are transplated into even bigger pots.  In the case of some crops, such as cabbage, they are then loaded onto special planting machines, and planted in fields.  When I was young I used to follow after the machines and make sure the plants were in the ground properly.

  8. after uprooting  the seed, the plant  replanting to its  growing

    place.

  9. Transplanting is when seeds, usually very small seeds, are planted in a media that will give them the best chance of germinating and growing to the point that they can be safely transferred to the soil where they will grow to maturity.  A good example is tomatoes where the small seeds are planted in good potting soil in small peat pots.  Then grown to the size that you buy at the garden center and set them out in your garden.  An example in agriculture is when tiny tobacco seeds are planted in a seed bed and set out as larger plants in the field where they grow to maturity.

  10. Transplantation is the surgical placement of a human organ from a patient who has been declared clinically brain dead (cadaveric donor). When an organ from a cadaveric donor is available, an organ procurement organization is notified. After determining the suitability of the donor, the donor's family is approached regarding the option of organ donation. If the donor's family agrees to donate, blood work is obtained to rule out any possible infections
