  1. Hudaibiya wasn't a battle to begin with. After the battle of the trench, the Muslims decieded to strike back against the Arabic tribes that invaded Medina.

One day prophet Muhammad received a vision that the Muslims are going to Mecca for Omra. So he went with 1400 man, but they took their weapons just in case of hostility.

Muslims camped outside Mecca in Hudaibiyah. Quraish investigated their intention & decieded to negotiate a treaty. & that was the treaty of Hudaibiyah.

The treaty was signed by the Muslims & the tribe of Khuza'a on one side. & Quraish with the tibe of Bakr on the other side. The treaty has several terms, including:

    - No war between the 2 parties (Muslims & Khuza'a Vs Qurain & Bakr) for 10 years

    - Muslims don't do the Omra at the moment. They'll be allowed to do it on the following year instead

The treaty gave Muslims the opportunity to send letters to the different kingdoms around Arabia to preach Islam without worrying about Mecca making war on them. The treaty had also allowed Muslims to focus on other enemies who fight them in the battle of the trench.

Bakr & Quraish broke the treaty when they attack & murdered some people from the tribe of Khuza'a who were visiting Mecca. So the prophet called the Muslims & managed to assemble an army of 10,000 strong. He marched to Mecca & succeeded in taking the city in a bloodless conquest.
