What is trojan.startpage.ig? My spyware program keeps finding it and quarantining it every day!

I htought that once it's quarantined that it should not keep being detected every day! BTW, I am running a PC on Microsoft Windows XP and the spyware is Uniblue SpyEraser. I hope you guys can help me out. Thanks in advance!

You have been infected with a nasty malware (extremely dangerous), your security soft has failed to do it's job.

First do an online scan and clean with http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html AND http://www.ewido.net/en/onlinescan/

Now it's time to replace that miserable insecurity software that you use; download the installers for

Unplug the internet line, uninstall the junk and install these (if necessary in safe mode) one by one with each necessary reboot done.

Reconnect the line and update them (Spybot has it manual). Next do a full scan with all.

That's all. Now admire how fast and safe your pc is (only if you never use IE again).
