i am sorry to say..but i only trust people for awhile..i feel the longer you know somebody..the less i trust them...why...because they start to take you for granted..they start to use you..and there goes the trust you think you had..

Trust is established between people only after they have both proven over time that they are trustworthy.  It's saying what you mean, meaning what you say, and backing it up through action and deed. It's definitely not something that can be gained overnight, and unfortunately it is not something that can be truly counted on because things and people change. I think the most important person to trust is yourself.  You're really the only one you can rely on at the end of the day.

Trusting others is part of life, but not so much blindly so.....like love, trust has no limits really, so it is up to each person to define it themselves......and yes, I am still figuring that out

but i will say through all my experiences so far, I still do prefer to trust others rather than not to, as I simply just prefer the former option to the latter.

well trust is something quite important for me... i don't play with that, if someone trust me by who i'm then i feel deeply appreciated by that person and so in trust with him or her... and to look for trust in a person i think you have to forget about all superficial things.... its like to look at the dark side of the other person or trying to imagine what would the other person if you are through bad moments or being attack by many problems, that's when the real person sometimes comes out, through hard moments i'm not talking about extremes like trying to survive, i mean like everyday problems....  you can discover many things while a person talks to you... hypocrisy no matter if that person is not hypocrite with you, that's like a big no trust sign...

It could be useful trying to discover why some people are with you like the reasons that keep you and the other person as friends or lovers, and i think the proper answer to trust him/her should be just love or friendship, not: activities, team works, interests, past experiences, similarities, hobbies, etc that's superficial...

But there's another important thing, if you're looking for people to trust you you have to be honest, respectful and comprehensive.
