What is universal karate?

I have a fair bit of experience in martial arts but a friend told me that they do something called 'Universal Karate' but i have never herd and i can't find any record of this. Does any one know what it is and give me some basic information if the is such thing?

It's probably someone who never learned karate but can imitate the movements and kicks and punches ok, who made up this "universal karate" to make money.

There is no such thing as "universal" karate. I think what your friend meant or heard of is a school of karate that is taught to everyone equally and understood universally. There are schools with the word universal in their names.

Either way, there is no kata known as universal.

I have no idea. My guess would be that it is a style that someone made up to make money with, or it is the name of a school.
