What is up with 12/12/2012?!?

I've heard December 12, 2012 Is supposed to be the end of the world, that, or something horrible is going to happen.

My cousin has been telling me about it a bit, and he keeps joking around with me Saying im the Anti-christ, because my Birthday is December 12th.

Also, its very akward that 12 divided by 2 = 6. Theres three twelves.. So thats three sixes, which is supposedly the Devil's number =/

6/6/06 devil's numbers, that date was supposed to have horrible happenings, so was the new malenium (2000) and that was called y2k, both of those alredy happened and the world is still here, nothing is going to happen on 2012, its just another y2k or devil year.

this kinda thing popped up numerous times, and so far nothing has happened, i heard over the Y2k accounts that some crazy peoeple sold everything, suicided, some crazy stuff, as well as 6/6/06, but nothing has ever happened

Three twelves, awkward? You got it all wrong, it's 12/21/12 not 12/12/2012.

12/2 = 6, 21/2= 10.5, 2012/12 = 1006. Unless you mean;

12/2 = 6, 21 (flipped) 12/2= 6, and take away 2000 and your left with 12. 12/2= 6. Thus 6 6 6. I had to tamper with it just to make it 6 6 6.

This here is too ridiculous more than that date 6/6/06. Nothing happened nor will something happen. 2012 is suppose to be a great change not put mankind to extinction.

Well I am pretty sure that the date is actually 12/23/2012.

The Mayans created a calender that has been pretty much exact.  Their calendar that they created ended on 12/23/2012.  People think that the end of the world is going to be on this day, but God specifically says in the bible that no one will know the day or time that he comes.

It is nothing to be worried about!

It's the last time that the date will have the form x/x/x (in this case x = 12,) until 01/01/3001.  I suppose that's why people find it to be significant/interesting.

There are 2 things regarding this.

1) It makes the end of the Mayan calendar.

2) Ed Dames has remote viewed the future and claims he can not "see" past this date.

Either way it is just a bunch of mumbo jumbo put forth by a bunch of moon bats. Like Y2K and lots of other things crack pots say. lol

You can never go wrong with scientific proof. Anything else is just rubbish. lol

First of all, its December 21, 2012. The theory of many ancient peoples, most importantly the Ancient Mayan Civilization, is that their frighteningly accurate calender seems to end on this precise date.

The Mayan "end of the world" myth actually pinpoints December 22, not December 12. But it's all hogwash either way.
