  1. Talk about an ego!!!!

He retired, he wasn't "pushed" into retiring.  That excuse he made saying that management forced him into retiring, does that make any sense at all?  With a record like Favre has, why would management "want" him to retire?

That's his excuse, and even a lot of die-hard Packer fans don't believe him.

Stay home Brett...Green Bay doesn't need you, and will you be happy when you make your first start and you're BOOOOOOOED?

  2. It looks like he will now play in Green Bay as the starting Quaterback. I really wish he went to Tampa Bay. Though

  3. Ahh Brett Favre...what can I say.  He is the bigest jerk in all of sports.  I have lost all respect for the man.  I once considered him an all time great, but now I realize that he is an egotiscical s.o.b.

To those who worship the man like he's a god he really isn't that good.  He has a record of 2-5 in the playoffs since his last Super Bowl apperance which was 12 years ago.  He hasn't even come close to the SB until last year.  What makes him so good?  The man chokes under pressure, remember back to the Cowboys Pack game in the 07 season.....he choked.  NFC champ game....choke.  And to those who say "O good he's back for one more year, this time he'll take us all the way...."  and what if he doesn't, should he come back next year?  By this logic he needs to come back forever.  The Packers are going to need to have a rookie QB sooner or later.....why not start now?  O wait because BF is back OMG!!!!  I mean honestly if we dont win the bowl then whats the point of having Brett back....?  Doesn't matter if we lose with Favre starting or Rodgers starting does it?  Nope but lets all give #4 the glorious amounts of worship he so obviously deserves for being such an average QB.  I mean Peyton Manning is going to take all those records away from Brett anyways, especially if he plays for a career 18 seasons.

  4. Brett Lorenzo Favre (pronounced /ˈfɑrv/[1]) (born on October 10, 1969, in Gulfport, Mississippi, US) is an American football player who was the starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL) from 1992 to 2007. Favre started at the quarterback position for The University of Southern Mississippi for four years before being selected in the second round of the 1991 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons (33rd overall). After one season with the Falcons, Favre was traded to the Green Bay Packers on February 10, 1992 for the 19th pick in the 1992 NFL Draft. He became the Packers' starting quarterback in the fourth game of the 1992 NFL season, starting every game from then on through the 2007-2008 season.[2]

Favre is the only three-time AP MVP (1995-97) in NFL history and led the Packers to two Super Bowls: a victory against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XXXI and a loss to the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XXXII. His records include: most career NFL touchdown passes (442), most career NFL passing yards (61,655), most career pass completions (5,377), most career pass attempts (8,758), most career NFL interceptions thrown (288), most consecutive starts among NFL quarterbacks (253; 275 total starts including playoffs), and most career victories as a starting quarterback (160).[3][4]

  5. It tis a sad day indeed ...all the years of pride, integrity and fair play has walked out the tunnel of Lambeau Field and right down the road. When one player can shanghai any entire team for self-gratitude it is bad..bad..bad..

Never mind finding Waldo....we need to find Vince Lombadi to give both sides one of his lectures that

address the fundamentals of team sportsmanship and that football is team effort.

  6. I wish he stayed retried.

He has all the money in the world, NFL records, a Super bowl ring, worshipped everywhere he goes, and a young family who needs him home

Give the the job to the rookie, Brett.

  7. he wants to stay with the packers

  8. He's being a real *****.

  9. i dont know ...what????

    nothing that i know of.

  10. way to copy and paste AC.

ugh, bad answers to a bad question......

  11. Yeah he's coming back, for $10mil. or something, right?

  12. Who cares.....seriously

  13. hes back wit da pack, fighting for a starting job. He should be with the Bears, with a team that respects him and could really use him!!

  14. basically hes a punk... he cant stay retired and doesn't want to but green bay wants him to stay retired and bring up Aaron Rodgers.... but if they give him up that means someone else can draft him and hes still an amazing quarter back so almost anyone is going to want him because hes so good... this is why Chicago wants him... but now I'm pretty sure hes staying with green bay (as of this morning) but you never know i heard he was going to be in Tampa this upcoming season theres alot of controversy over the fate of Favre..

if you ask me i think he should retire now i know he has alot more in him but don't risk injuring yourself for the rest of your life... he had an amazing year last year just finish it now and be done.. he is still hall of fame material and will go down as one of the best quarter backs ever
