What is up with avatar backgrounds?

I love the ones that are clouds or lightbulbs or the one with ! all over the place, aren't they cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????!!!!...

Actually, I thought the selection was a little dissapointing.  There are a lot of different pictures to choose from, but they're all the same style.

i just wish they made more... those are cool though... i wish they made like camping and stuff... also i wish they would let u change just one part of the already-out-together outfits... i hate when i like the oants but dont like the top, but i cant change it unless i change the whole outfit... it sux :(
