What is up with my amp??

Question

i, just today, got my first electric guitar with a mini amp, its a epiphone studio 15R and the only thing it has to make it louder is reverb no volume control!!! (at least i cant find it) and i cant hear the guitar properly without turning boht overdrive k***s (drive and level) all the way up and even then its too quiet!! plz help! i dont hav a pic of it with me but u can porbly see it if u type in the name in guitar center or samash.com which is where i got it
