What is up with the Tapout crew?

Does anyone else think these guys are a bunch of tools.Whats up with the cheezy costumes and horrible jokes?

just another trend. i like some of their shirts. and alot of their hot *ss models lol

as for the guys themselves...showoff's. clowns. etc.

The TapouT crew is awsome. And their costumes are more awsome. Don't hate because you're not good enough to be sponsored by them.

Its just another way to target the UFC's (not mma as a whole neccesarily) primary audience- youth.

It helps add to the entertainment value of the sport ( i personally find it great already as what it should be- just a sport) by giving it a familar attitude which has proven very marketable in the past.

It fulfills the ufc's primary goals in reaching out to the target audience-

(btw this is all just my own digression and not a matter of fact- just using my common sense)

That is that:

It helps win over more viewers from fake wrestling

Promotes the legitimacy of the sport (that its real)

Defines the machismo element of the sport- how to be a badass

You and I can see through this farce, but ultimately the ufc is business and this is a somewhat smart manuever on their part to help bring in more revenue.

personally i don't like the tapout crew or their clothing line and thats why i don't buy their stuff or watch their show BUT they worked their assess off to be where they are now. their clothing line is like the most successfull brand out there in the sport. its like the nike of mma. so whether you like them or not, you got to respect their accomplishments.

I personally think they are ridiculous and stupid. Its great that they sponsor up and coming fighters but I think the whole costume thing is stupid. They barely know anything about MMA, they're idoits.
