What is up with the birth of these rare twin pandas?

why are they blind and apparently quake. What does this all mean?

The Mother survived the earthquake and gave birth to these two , and by the way all cubs are born blind. I hope they are treasured and looked after.. as I am sure they will. After all there are only a few left in the World, and our animals are disappearing too fast, with forestation, killing by man, and   the raiding of their habitat.It is time that the rest of the World made laws to stop this wanton destruction of our wild animals, as they were on this Planet long before we were... so they are entitled to it more than Man... who does nothing but destroy everything.
