What is up with the kinoki detox foot pads? do they work? and how? are they safe?

as was said before, its a scam, theres some chemical on the pad that turns the pad a sickly brownish color when it gets wet.

I saw something on Dateline NBC or 20/20...one of those shows, a couple months ago saying they're fake!  They said that the reason the pad gets so dark is from sweating.  The pad gets wet & turns dark.

It is a scam..  If you are removing heavy metal from your body through your feet, you have much more serious problems....
