  1. Crazy weather comes and goes...I know...we've had the same thing for the past couple of years where I live except for the past week which has been kind of nice.  Temperatures are definitely cooling down.  I think we've entered a global cooling trend.

  2. Reminds me of the late 40s but not as crazy!

  3. the weather is no different than it was any other time in last 100 years.  You just have a bad memory.  In August 1980, pre global warming scare, Dallas had 30 or 40 days over 100 F, way warmer than now.

People tend to put 2 and 2 together and come up with 5.  You believe its hotter now, but how can you tell?  Get the facts before jumping to conclusions.  Its 49 in the am where I live.

  4. Man has always fought the weather all his life. Some of the best stories written is how they survived a terrible storm.

  5. What crazy weather??? Everything seems very normal.

  6. You mean the weather is not normal? Like, it has changed from what you are used to? And if people all over the world report that the weather is crazy, that the weather has changed, well, isn't that almost the same thing as the climate has changed?

    Wait a second!

    The climate has changed?

Climate change, climate change, now what was it that causes climate change....?

Oh, yeah, now I remember: Global Warming!!

So: What is up with this crazy weather?

Global warming, my friend, global warming...

  7. The world is ending.

  8. Crazy weather is the norm and you will never find a year without it.  The world goes on as always.

  9. The real effects of global warming have not yet been felt. We are getting the occasional pointed warning, but the actual effects are yet to be fully felt.

The albedo is slowly decreasing which shows our winters are getting warmer. It will continue until it goes to a minimum by then ice will begin appearing where it hasn't normally been and not appearing where it usually has been. Temperatures will become universally warmer since more water will be available in the atmosphere.

In between, times the interior areas will become more arid desertification will spread. Wild fires will be routine wherever there are massive amounts of timber. The tropics will slowly expand to the maximum of their range. Land will submerged along the coasts.

This scenario, while appearing conflicting, has to with the complex interactions between geography, water, air and ocean currents. Everything within these factors will change to one degree or another.
