What is up with this flight?

Question

The flight leaves at 10:30 and arrives at 13:10

But on the way back it leaves at 17:40 and arrives at 05:15 the next morning.

Its the same flight, a non stop flight.

why does it take longer on the way back?

Coz you're crossing time zones, gaining hours on the way and loosing them on the way back.

All airlines quote all flight take off and landing times in the local time for each airport
