What is up with yahoo 360?

Question

I hear that they were to shut down earlier this year and yet they are still here. I had a 360 account that was deleted about a year ago. I have since created another account and have access to 360 again but in going through people that I had as friends in the past and seeing my posting to their blogs, it's like I never existed.

What is wrong here? Nobody was able to help me then and I don't expect that they will help me now. I have heard of this happening to others too but I just would like to know what happened? Why is it that certain people seem to have this broken link?

its about a useless site, is it not? I would suggest using another social networking site

Mine would not send or receive for the first few months I had it.  Now I can reveive messages & comments but cannot write a blog or post any pics.  I have this page w nothing on it.

Just know that your friends understand.

When you see your postings in the blogs , is your id just a gray silhouette and it says  deleted under it for your id name?

Friend if you as you say "had" your account deleted .. then Yahoo did do away with your account as if it never existed.

Anyone who leaves a comment somewhere on the 360 and then deletes the account.. gets the same silhouette and deleted name.

It was not some "people" on your friends list that caused this to happen.. they have the options that would allow them to delete your comments completely and that would sure make it like you never existed. But they did not.

When your account was deleted Yahoo had the right to delete anything that was yours on the account.. but the comments you left on others pages were not your property any longer.. when you leave a comment it becomes the property of the person you left it with. They can't delete them from their account.. only they can do that..

That is why we do not have any delete or edit option for comments in the 360 when we leave one.

Yes the 360 is going to close eventually .. when I don't know.. if you want to read what I know about it .. go to the top of your 360 pages and click onto the option Yahoo360News and it takes you to the 360 Product Blog.

Is not people .. is yahoo.

Since they started working on their new Universal profile yahoo does not fix glitches or bugs or does any maintenance in the 360 pages, so yes your going to find many people with broken links and many malfunctioning pages.

There is problems receiving invites, quick comments, changing pictures, blasts and even posting or viewing blogs.

All we can do is sit tight and wait until yahoo decides to launch their new platform.

my 360 gives me all sorts of problems. i can very rarely change pictures or blog stuff etc. i really don't know anything about it but i'll wish you good luck with yours!

The only problem I have had with Yahoo 360 is adding this one person. It will not let me add them as a friend and I have tried everything. It makes no sense to me or her.
