Ewing's on the Kern in Kernville, California.  Old fashioned steak house - great steaks, prime rib, cocktails etc.  View of the rapids and the white water rafters on the Kern River.  Near Bakersfield

My fav is a Small place in LA called "Off Vine".  It is a craft's man house from the 20's.  You can get awesome apps, main meal wine and the best if you go on your birthday you get a free souffle which is out of this world!!!  The charm and atmosphere always work whether it's a special occasion dinner or just a fun evening out.

depends on what i want to eat.  bonefish grill in one of my faves.  the service is great, the atmosphere is nice, the price is nice, and the food is awesome.  if you have never been, try it.  order bang bang shrimp...you'll love it!

My favorite restaurant is Lobster Shop in downtown Tacoma great view too especially  at night. They make really good steak and cocktails and I love their desserts.
