What is ur interpretation of this poem?

Question

A single little comment

Gets full acknowledgement

Always taken wrong

You start the fight and I play along

I try and I try to stay strong

Maybe someday we can look back

Maybe someday we’ll have a great laugh

We’ll reminisce

And I won’t resist

But right now I can’t find a way

Oh, yeah, not today

Running may not be the best

But it’s the only way out of the mess

Until next time

When making a mistake is a major crime

You never hear what you don’t want to

You never admit to being the fool

But I know better

And fair through the bad weather

Can I ask you just one thing

Just one little question I want to know

Why you must always hurt and sting

Pitching sounds colder than snow

I can’t see why

You must make me cry, ohh, ohh

Seems to me to be about someone that wants to tell another something but that someone always hears what they want to hear.

  The person wants to get away from the relationship infact wants to run away. and hopes that one day they will look back on their failed relationship and laugh.

   But at the moment the person that should hear what wants to be said just lashes out and says hurtful things in such a way that the other person just is brought to tears.

     thats my take on it. but remember that any person that does that to another never changes. get away get far away
