  1. I think that what they did was not a good thing to do but it just should not have gotten as much media attention as it did, especially because it was collingwood the media thrive on events like that in order to build on the reputation of collingwood, its so annoying.

All afl players are young and at that time of life it is natural to maybey go out have some drinks, but for afl players they are extra monitors and sometimes they are just sick of all the things that they cant do that they want to in every day life, this is why we see so many off field dramas like drinking and stuff.

They are serving their punishment and it should be something now of the past.

  2. Collingwood have handed down a realistic penance for irresponsible acts towards the general public and team administration - whom players ought to respect as they pay their wages.

The offshoot is that Collingwood team are playing better than they have for weeks, obviously the connection between crime and time has sunk in.

By contrast, the swans have done nothing useful about their Number 1 assassin, and the team thus believes that they can get away with anything on and off field, and they are playing like Manangatang Thirds.

    Karma.

  3. My opinion is that it is old now, and there is no point discussing it - They did something wrong and were punished, end of story!

  4. It's a ridiculous situation that has happened down at Collingwood.

Heath Shaw is issued with a fine for drink driving (fair enough at that stage) but then lied to Eddie McGuire's face and is handed a suspension.

It is just so stupid that Heath Shaw and ALan Didak were both suspended for lying.

AFL and Collingwood have lost the plot and it doesn't seem like we'll be able to watch controversial-free (public unrinations, cheating husbands etc) football for a long time coming.

    xx
