  1. uric acid is the final oxidation product of purine catabolism in human beings and since it is highly toxic in large amounts in the body, it is converted to urea(waste product and discharged before its toxin level increases in the body.

    It is harmful because whether the uric acid level increases or decreases, it cause many problems in the body. Chech out the diseases related to increase or decrease of uric acid in our body ^_^
