  1. The "use" of aeronautical engineering should be pretty easy to guess. Essentially, we make the things that fly.

    It is just as any engineering branch when it comes to employment. There is no minimum salary, no one would hire you if you have a degree but not the required knowledge.And like all engineering disciplines the salary increases as your exposure and expertise increases.

    As for scope of employment, it could be anything from airframe designing, avionics, propulsion, maintenance and weapon systems.
