What is used by TWC to block analog channels from coming through when I'm only subscribed to cable internet?

I took a peek at the source of my cable feed and saw some stuff that's not supposed to be there when you subscribe to cable tv and internet? Just curious what you call this "thing" and how it works.

  1. They install a filter in the line that prevents signals, except for the frequency used for the Internet, from getting through. Some of the signals will still get through, but at lower than normal levels.


  2. its called a trap it stops you from getting cable your not paying for by cutting out those channels if you remove it they will know and you will face a class A felony for theft of services  they will prosecute you trust me
