I am a beginning motorcycle rider and before I get my first bike I need a helmet, I was wondering if anyone knows of any very well vented (I want to be able to feel the wind) full face helmet for a reasonable price (I don't have $500 to drop on a helmet)? Thanks in advance

  1. Here in Arizona, in summer time, there are no vented helmets period. To qualify I think a helmet would need ten 3 inch holes on 2 inch centers bored pretty much all over the helmet. Forget comfort, comfort goes with a Buick. My Shoei is poorly vented and it is a top of the line helmet. Neither HJC was worth a darn in our summer. I wear an HJC 5/8 helmet and trade a little protection for comfort. After our summer I wear the Shoei.

  2. get a vegas, now since you dont know about this stuff, buy b\nothing over internet, you must try it on. Also, none will allow you to truely feel wind, other then non full face helmets. u trade wind for safety

  3. I got a fulmer when i bough my bike. Bout 125 new. Its vented well enough dont get too hot in 95 degree high humidity as long as you are moving.
