I just heard about how viacom is collecting the viewing history, IP address, etc. of every youtube user. But how can they go after every single person who has ever watched a video clip of theirs? I don't see how they can. But I'm still afraid to watch anything on youtube. I know they said they aren't using it to go after people, but why else would they want our information? I just want to know more about what's going on. I'm terrified to watch or upload anything on youtube now.

  1. Anything they want to.

Anyone dumb enough to think that the internet is safe to throw your private information around deserves to pay.

THE INTERNET IS NOT A PUBLIC FORUM.  IT IS A PRIVATE FORUM AND ANY INFORMATION YOU GIVE HERE BELONGS TO THE OWNER OF THE WEBSITE.

  2. Who cares? You are being paranoid. Besides, youtube sucks. It always has.

  3. They are going to try and find a way to charge us for looking at the videos..
